50" & 49" Muskie Reriving in a Beckman Net50" & 49" Muskie Reriving in a Beckman Net
Dear Beckman Nets,

I am a member of Muskies Canada and I just wanted to thank you for your great products. I own a big basket net with a fin saving mess and it has done wonders for the safe handling and release of many Muskies since I've had it.

When I am by myself, I am able to place the net in my rod holder and have a trophy Musky reviving in it while I set up for a picture. I only have the fish out of the water for 10 - 15 seconds and they usually take off within a minute when I put them back. Since I've had your net I wouldn't go on the water without it! Here is a picture of a 50" and 49" Musky reviving while I set up for a picture.

Thanks again,

Jason Murray

Bruce and Jim,

I used my Beckman for the first time last season, I was impressed with the size of the bag and how it handled our huge Kenai Kings. Enclosed is a picture of an 82# king (55 ½ in by 34 ½ in) that a client caught this year. Thanks to the Beckman it was an easy net job and haul into the boat! Yes, I have personally seen 60+ lb kings break through the bottom of inferior nets. Thanks for a quality product that we Kenai River Guides can count on day after day!

Thanks,

Adam Reid

This muskie is proof of how well a Beckman Net will work in extreem conditions...Gary and I are the abuse testers for Beckman Nets. Our Beckman Nets are at least 12 years old and have been badly abused...left in the boat, summer and winter, out in the weather, exposed to the worst conditions Northern Wisconsin has to offer. We were fishing Lake of the Woods at Witch Bay Camp and borrowed our Pro Muskie Net to another boat, all we had in the boat was our Med. Boat Net. We were walleye fishing and Gary wanted to make a few casts for muskie...never thinking that we would actually hook into one. Well you know how it goes...We landed this 47 1/2" muskie with our Med. Boat Net. The muskie was over 30 pounds and both the muskie and the net survived. The muskie lost a few teeth, she was lipped hooked, that's where the blood came from and the net has a huge hole, but she quickly swam away. She was only in the net for 10 seconds at the most. I wouldn't recommend that everyone abuse their nets as we do but it just goes to show you that these nets are built to last. And yes, I will replace my net bags now. I think that they have proven themselves.

It's August 17, 2002...I fished nearly 10 years for a fish like this and now I've finally got her boatside. I yell to my buddy, "Get the Net!" He responds quickly and the Beckman swallows the fish up. 53" of Supreme Green Fighting Machine...Back she goes.
